Just Play Initiatives
Currently, we have four Just Play Initiatives - three sponsorships (Athletic, Musical, and Christmas Gift) and Team Mandy - and each one ignites joy in youth in a different way.
Athletic Sponsorship
Depending on the participant's level of need, our Athletic Sponsorship covers the participation fees and/or necessary equipment for the participant's chosen sport. At the end of the season, the participant has the opportunity to opt in to the next season. All participants are automatically enrolled in Team Mandy.
Musical Sponsorship
Depending on the participant's level of need, the Musical Sponsorship covers the purchase or rental of an instrument and/or three months of lessons. At the end of three months, the participant has the opportunity to opt in to another three months. All participants are automatically enrolled in Team Mandy.
Team Mandy
Team Mandy is a free weekly newsletter containing faith-based guidance and wisdom that aims to help youth live joy-filled lives. All youth covered by an Athletic/Musical Sponsorship are automatically enrolled, but anybody is welcome to join Team Mandy. Don't worry, adults - we didn't forget about you: there's a version of the newsletter designed specifically for parents, coaches, teachers and other leaders, so you can also be a part of Team Mandy!
